En mixed media-LO

God morgon!

Idag tänkte jag visa LO'n jag gjort efter tolkning av Veckans Skiss, nr #68.

Jag har inspirerats av Christin Umenorskan Grönslett och hur hon gör sina ursnygga mixed media-bakgrunder till sina fina LO's. Framför allt kollade jag på denna tutorial i hennes blogg och försökte mig på min egen variant på en bakgrund. Hon är oerhört duktig på att göra snygga bakgrunder och följer ni inte henne redan rekommenderar jag varmt att ni gör det. :)

Här är min LO.

Valet av mina färger på misterna gick jag efter de härliga färgerna på kortet.

Jag har använt Gesso, Modeling Paste, mister, masker, rullstämpel.
Med flera lager och färger på bakgrunden tar LO'n ett tag att göra, men det är det värt.
Det var för längesen jag kladdade så det får jag ta coh göra snart igen. :)

Valborgsmässoafton 2015

For those who follow me on Instagram (IG) some of you may have seen that my brother in law and his family lost their youngest son Lucas to a brain tumor last Tuesday (the 28th). He was 6 years and 60 days old when he took his last breath.

We went to visit them last week and was there the rest of the week.
On Thursday it was a Swedish holiday called Valborgsmässoafton. The whole family was gathered at grandma' and grandpa's place for dinner.
Lucas had, on Monday evening, "talked" about Valborg, about lighting a bonfire (tradition in Sweden) and grilling marshmallows. He looked forward to this, so off course we had a bonfire and grilled marshmallows. Even I, who don't like smoke, grilled and gave mine away to Lucas older brothers.

It was a different evening but a very good evening. We laughed and cried. We talked about Lucas a lot. So my LO for Veckans Skiss today is about that night.

Elsa-LO

It's Monday and the sun is shining. The birds are chirping and the cats are out in the garden.
I'm home from visiting Stockholm and Fristadsträffen, that was on Saturday and Sunday.
I was there with Pysseldags, selling rubberstamps and Copics. And I scrapped quite a bit too. :)

In this post I'm gonna show you the first thing I did at Fristadsträffen.

It's a LO. Most of the things on the LO came from a kit that Ullis had made. Everyone who was entering the challenge got the same stuff in their kits and everything had to be on the finished project. I even used the little paper bag the kit was in.
You were allowed to add things to the kit.

I had an image that I had colored with Copics and stamped a text on from Pysseldags.

It was really fun making this LO and I've given it away to a precious little girl that I adore. She loves Frost so this fits her perfect. :) Her parents are gonna frame this for her to have in her room. :)
